Crossroads Health Partners with UEI College to Develop the Next Generation of Medical Billing Professionals

Crossroads Health and UEI College have partnered to aid UEI’s Medical Billing & Insurance Coding students in graduating with entry level knowledge and skills in the field of medical billing. By combining Crossroads Health’s innovative approach to revenue cycle management with UEI's track-record of producing qualified candidates, the medical billing and insurance coding professionals graduating from UEI College will be well-equipped for the dynamic workforce they intend to enter.

By partnering with UEI College, Crossroads Health has the opportunity to work with ambitious medical billing and insurance coding professionals who are passionate about starting their careers on the right foot. The Results of our Partnership

The results of this partnership have been tremendous, numerous UEI graduates have landed full-time positions at Crossroads Health immediately following their externship, and more students are applying to extern at Crossroads Health every month. 

Peter Hinojosa, a UEI graduate, runs the externship program at Crossroads Health in addition to his role as a Senior Credit Balance Analyst. Peter is an avid supporter and advocate of UEI College and credits much of his career advancement to their Medical Billing & Insurance Coding program. In his words, “I get the opportunity to show students the risks of having credit balances on open A/R. While the students are educated on the processes and procedures to work accounts correctly, they also get real-world experience and job opportunities following the program.”
